* Members(15 years and above) to apply before 15 December 2007
* Shortlisted applicants will be granted an estimated 50% subsidy of the cost of the package to World Youth Day.
* Young people will have the opportunity to meet with His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI

Details:
Date: 14-20 July 2008(During school term so please note that students will have to apply leave from school)
Venue: Sydney, Australia
Estimated cost: $1000 (Before subsidy. Includes airfare, meals, transport and accommodation in schools, church hall, or home stay.)

A day full of fun, games, food, reflections and praise & worship ! Do head down ! (Details below).

Where: IHM Retreat house
Day: 28th (Saturday) to 29th (Sunday)
Time: 6pm (Saturday) and camp ends at 5pm (Sunday)
Camp fee: $15
For National Exco:

Day: 27th (Friday) to 29th (Sunday)
Time: Starts at 6pm (Friday) ends at 5pm (Sunday)
Camp fee: $25
All Please bring along:

Hey, the tertiary camp has been set to be a New/Old Exco camp, and is open only to secondary school Exco members, and members of the New (45th) and Old (44th) Exco. Please note that it is COMPULSARY for ALL Exco members in secondary schools to attend the camp.

Hellos....
Yesterday 2th of June was our AGM or Annual General Meeting where the national and school reports will be made, and electing the national executive committee or exco for the term of 2007/08.
Started slightly off-schedule cause some people were late but I'm sure everyone enjoyed it cause they can meet their friends from other schools after a few months of not seeing each other.
The report made by the schools and the national level inform the members present on what the movement has done for the past year and what they would like to do in the following year. After the reports, it was time for lunch with food catered by some kind guy (you know who you are! (:)
After that it was back to the meeting room for the rite of initiation for some of the members present who fulifiled the requirements to get initiated as full members of YCS. The rite was conducted by Father Henry Siew, the spiritual director of YCS. Then after, we had the election started. The voters had the right to choose the people they would like to pick but at the same time could vote all 8 at once. However, there are 8 positions and 8 nominees so all 8 nominees made the new 45th Exco from mid-2007 till mid-2008

*Missing from the photo are Amos(training leader) and Elisa(treasurer), Matthew Wong and Oliver Ong quit before this

AN EVENING OF SONG & MELODIES OF PRAISE
Saints Peter and Paul are pleased to have the world renowned A-cappella Choir of Villach (Austria) performing for her church building fund on 10 June 2007 at 8pm at University Cultural Centre. This Choir has received the "Ferdinand Grossmann Award" for outstanding achievement in choral music.
One often has to pay like 100-200 Euro to attend such a performance in Europe. Tickets are now priced at only $25 each as we have a generous sponsor who brought them to Singapore. This is a great chance not to be missed!
If you are interested to attend the concert or make a contribution to Church of St. Peter & Paul, please inform Daphne by 11 May 2007.
